Expedition Supervision

JJ Ellis can provide support ranging from advice to full planning and running of Bronze and Silver expeditions. We have assessed routes and experience of running expeditions in a wide range of areas across the uk including the following areas:

  • Surrey Hills

  • Ashdown Forrest

  • New Forrest

  • Breacon Beacons

  • The Purbecks

  • Dartmoor

  • Snowdonia National Park

We can run expeditions with just one or multiple teams and all campsites used have been assessed and approved for use with young people.

All staff will have valid first aid and appropriate expedition qualifications depending on the type of expeditions and enhanced DBS.

Expedition Assessment

JJ Ellis Ltd has accredited assessors with experience of working with both single and multiple teams.

Our Assessors will meet with the teams before the expedition to check routes and plans. Then they will be there at the start of the trip and throughout the expedition to ensure the twenty conditions are met.

Special Needs Support

As a company we are very proud of the support we can offer for special needs group. Our team has experience of working with groups with a very wide range of disabilities, especially Autism.

If variations are needed we will work with the DofE centre to ensure that all participants are able to complete the expedition within there own specific requirements.

Our supervisors will use a wide range of different maps and navigation techniques that compliment the individuals own ability to understand.
